Nedra is one of the Founder's & Director's of Rebuilding Lives. She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology with an emphasis in counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She is a certified Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor, trained Trauma-Focused CBT, and Strengthening Families & Celebrating Families facilitator. Nedra has over 11 years of professional experience working with children/adolescents, families, & adults with mental health, emotional-behavioral disturbances, and addictive diseases. She has served 6 years as a Social Service provider at a Community Service Board and the treatment coordinator of the Hall County Family Treatment Court Program. She has worked in schools, provided in home counseling to youth & families, and collaborated with community agencies.
Underlying Nedra’s work is the general premise that people are greatly affected when one of their needs are not being met. Therefore Nedra utilizes Maslow’s hierarchy of needs approach when working with clients and strives to tailor this approach for each individual. She values each client as an individual and acknowledges his or her unique struggles, strength, and life path.
